| I am interested in an exploration
of the space beyond language through durational performances. Moving away from a making of meaning I aim to create a space of experience, to explore space as event. The performances do not follow a dramatic form, but are constructed as a collage, using movement in a sculptural way. Combining video projection and other media with live performance I can go beyond the boundaries of my own body and project a particular condition into the space. Thereby the audience can be within the performance and engage in their own way. The durational performance format is a direct consequence of the emphasis on something unfolding over time, be it my own experience or that of the audience. |
