The video Words in Silence evolved out of several attempts to convey a story and persistent failures in achieving this. A visual possibility eventually appeared in the use of the silent moments within the speaking, their facial expressions and gestures.

Seeking to find a voice for the female subject the video stays within an ambivalence of control and failure and plays with the paradoxical notion of speaking through silence.
